Metizo kicks off its Mentoring Programme for a major French Bank : Groupe Caisse d’Epargne
The Groupe Caisse d’Epargne (GCE), France’s oldest savings bank, is undergoing rapid change and is positioning itself as a major player on international markets (OCEOR, Natixis).
In order to prepare the company’s leadership for these challenges, Patrick Moreau, Group Director HR development, chose Metizo to support the company during this transition using Managing Directors as Mentors and a selected pool of High Potentials as future leaders – several hundreds over 3 years.

The selection was done on the basis of career profiles … with a requirement for mobility.
All entities of the Group had direct control over the choice of High Potentials sent to participate in the programme.
The programme was announced to the pool of High Potentials in Paris early January with presence of Bob Aubrey. The participants expressed a high interest and bombarded with questions about the programme Patrick Moreau, Alain Bongiorni (Director of HR for the Group), and Laurent Choain (Director of MDs management).
The Metizo Team with Philippe Lecomte as Senior Mentor then kicked off the pilot programme end of January by training more than 70 participants.
Over the next 9 months, The High Potentials of the Groupe Caisse d’Epargne will be accompanied along their journey of personal and professional development by the Metizo team. They will attend further tutorials in smaller groups to deepen their knowledge of the tools and share their experience. The High Potentials will meet with their Mentors to elaborate their career strategies, and they will be individually accompanied by the Team throughout the process to ensure their progress.
