Metizo launches Brazil program with SAP

When Erwin Rezelman (former COO of SAP Labs China and now President of the SAP GSC) was asked to build a new SAP Global Service Center in Brazil he knew success would mean attracting and developing people at a blistering pace. Being a winner in software development is about people: they provide the innovations and getting teams to work well requires mature management.

Erwin Rezelman sees the Brazil Global Service Center going from 150 employees to more than 400 in only two years. After studying how Metizo had helped SAP’s Labs China during its fast growth phase, he asked us design our mentoring program with distance support from Europe as a key component of the Brazil leadership development program named LEAD. Metizo CEO Bob Aubrey personally went to Brazil with SAP coach Ben Frommherz to train an international team of experienced SAP managers. These managers will, in turn, mentor 16 key employees on career entrepreneurship.

SAP is located within the Unisinos university campus in Sao Leopoldo (30 mins from the capital of the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande del Sul). A new SAP campus is now under construction and will be a showcase for the Unisinos technology park with a number of “green architecture” innovations for South America.

According to HR Manager Adriana Kersting: “We want to be the best in Brazil for people development. Metizo’s unique approach and certification process is complete and highly structured. These features make Metizo one of the best choices on the market today”.
